Working with Axxis Consulting, Soilmec Singapore invested in the on-premise SAP Business One system to improve the efficiency of its current business processes and to support its current growth needs.
Being the spare parts hub for Soilmec’s Far East/Pacific region, Soilmec Singapore needs a good inventory management system to help handle its wide range of inventory. As such, SAP Business One’s inventory module is well-equipped with the capability to run real-time inventory updates and availability checks, manage warehouse data, optimise stock location, track and record stock movements, and run reports that predict the level of impact by varying volume, cash and customer discounts. Thus, offering the best practice functionality to help them meet their inventory requirements and streamline inventory processes.
In addition, with SAP Business One’s finance module, it provides the finance department with real-time financial data and insights into the cash flows of the business, allowing the team to better manage cash flows and track budgets in a more timely and accurate fashion. The system also allows for better cross-department integration by allowing full visibility into the entire flow of a sales transaction, from sales order to invoicing, allowing the finance team to perform much faster financial transactions.
